Gandhi House

“Never bend your head, always hold it high because  Success is doing not winning.”

Yes, this was the symbol and motto of our house from the beginning of the session 2016-17.

Slowly and steadily we took steps towards success and now also on the way to progress.

“Winning isn’t everything but wanting to win is something special.”

This was the driving force of all the members of the house which helped us in achieving success in a number of events. This year Inter House activities commenced with the most exciting and thrilling events like Creative Writing, Elocution and Declamation competition.

There was a neck to neck fight among all the houses.

The students gave their level best performance and secured third position in the events. The performance of our house in Debate competition was magnificent and praiseworthy. We proved ourselves better than those of other houses in a number of activities. In sports our house did well. However in some events we did not perform upto our potential, but the fabulous skillful play in badminton and football proved the caliber of the Gandhi house boys and girls. The performance of all the players was applauded by one and all.

We worked honestly and diligently all through the year to bring our House to new heights. It has been a wonderful experience and privilege to be a part of this journey. The disappointment of not having excelled in certain activities will be a driving force for future endeavours.

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our respected Principal for her constant co-operation and guidance.

I would also like to thank all our House teachers and students who had glorified the House through their sincere efforts and hard work.

House Mistress

Mrs. E. Chattree
